Classical Discipleship

Classical Discipleship

In our Classical Discipleship Sunday School Classes, we come to increase our knowledge of the God revealed in the Bible. He is the holy one who has purpose for our lives. His word is unchanging, eternal, profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness. The word of God sustains, heals, and gives life to the soul.

Ephesians 4:11-17 best sums up the vision of PCC Classical Discpleship. It says:
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the
stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body to grow so that it builds itself up in love.”

That is why we encourage everyone to participate in a Sunday School class.
NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN YOUR JOURNEY OF FAITH THERE IS A CLASS FOR YOU.

Do you struggle most days with feeling distant from God? Busyness, numbness, and so many other things get in between us and experiencing nearness with Christ. The good news is that God has given us very simple tools that will help us experience His presence in the ordinary everyday moments of our lives. These are the tried-and-true tools used by the church for thousands of years to draw near to God and experience the full, abundant life He calls us to.
