Fall Semester Course – Lay Counseling
Beginning September 15, 6:15-7:30 pm at Pittsford Community Church (Apex) and via Zoom.
Join us for the fall semester’s Pittsford Bible Institute course, “Lay Counseling: People Helping People.” This course will explore personality development, conversational and listening skills, and difficult life issues in the context of the Bible and spiritual friendships. With just one hour of preparation each week and regular class attendance you will earn a certificate from the Evangelical Training Association (www.etaworld.org), a nationally recognized leadership training organization. Our textbook for this course will be Understanding People: Ministry to All Stages of Life by Cheryl Fawcett (Evangelical Training Association, 2001). This course begins September 15 and meets weekly on Wednesdays, 6:00-7:15 pm at the Pittsford Community Church (Apex) and via Zoom.
